WE GIVE BACK
We are committed to using our business and brands as a force for good and in June 2024, achieved our goal of certifying as a B Corp™. This means our business has been externally recognised for meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability, which we're very proud of.

As Certified B Corporations® we recognise and value the importance of continuous improvement and acknowledge this is only the start of our journey — we’re on a mission to continue improving our impact to create an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy for all.

We have developed an in-house Social Responsibility Charter which helps us to focus on how best to achieve our goals and maximise the positive impact we generate. Here is our most recent impact report.
If you have any feedback, comments or questions about our figures or methodology please let us know by emailing info@atkinjones.com.

OUR ENVIRONMENT
We are proud to have attained Green Accreditation with Investors in the Environment (iiE) in 2024, 2023 and 2022, having achieved Silver in 2021. iiE is a national
environmental accreditation scheme designed
to help businesses reduce their impact on the
environment – something we wholeheartedly support.

We were also delighted to be shortlisted for Best Newcomer in the iiE Awards 2022, receiving a commendation for our efforts and have been shortlisted for the Influencer Award in 2024.
You can read our full environmental policy here but essentially, achieving Green means we…
-
Have developed and implemented an environmental policy and have our own Environmental Champion
-
Monitor our gas, electricity and water use along with our national and international business travel
-
Review our resource readings so that we can improve our energy efficiency and set new targets regularly
-
Have created a strategic and detailed action plan to keep us on track and ensure we meet our targets
-
Recycle our waste and have a plan to reduce our travel impact
-
Develop and support additional projects that have a positive benefit for our local communities or the planet
-
Review and present our progress for assessment annually
OUR PURPOSE
We have aligned our objectives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to help integrate sustainability into our everyday practices. Through discussions with our clients, partners and other stakeholders, we have undertaken a purpose mapping exercise to identify where we feel we can have the most impact.

The six SDGs we focus on are:

3 - Good Health & Wellbeing
4 - Quality Education
7 - Affordable & Clean Energy
9 - Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
12 - Responsible Consumption & Production
13 - Climate Action

We use renewable energy providers, continue to develop a sustainable and resilient infrastructure for our business and focus on climate action, raising awareness through Just, Good Travel and via our travel safety & sustainability brand Sanderson Phillips. By signing up with Ecologi to plant trees and fund projects which directly impact atmospheric CO2 levels, we are further supporting five of our six SDGs.
Our commitment to our customers
As a family-run business we are proud to be able to deliver a bespoke, personal service for our clients. We are open to feedback whether positive or negative in order to achieve our goal of ongoing improvement in our products and services, for both our customers, and in our role as a business that supports People, the Planet and our shared Prosperity.

We invite our tranquilico clients to submit feedback via Trustpilot page and all Atkin Jones/Sanderson Phillips clients are encouraged to contact us to share any feedback at any time.

We were very proud to be shortlisted for The Good Small Business Awards 2023 in the 'Good Small Business of the Year' category.
